Meet the Two Teaspoons team

Becky, Founder of Two Teaspoons smiling in the garden of the kitchen in Wimbledon.

Becky

Becky has always delighted in cooking for others, be it supper for her two (6ft+ tall) sons or a dinner party for 30 friends. And it’s no different for the 500 nursery school children we cater for every week. Leading from the front with infectious energy and positivity, Becky is as comfortable hosting a pastry cookery workshop as sitting on a discussion panel for entrepreneurs. Her passion for the business sees Becky wearing many hats, from CEO to CFO, head of HR to head of washing up, but her favourite is a bright pink beanie!

Stella, our kitchen manager, smiling in the garden at our kitchen in Wimbledon.

stella

Second to her love of Earl Grey tea, Stella’s passion for cooking and nutrition has led to an invaluable expertise in recipe creation and menu planning for our early years clients. The don of procurement and master of kitchen management, Stella has developed long-standing relationships with our trusted suppliers and is always at the end of the phone for any help or advice for our clients. Stella’s integrity and attention to detail ensure the highest of standards at Two Teaspoons, while her love of musicals and baking, provide us all with plenty of song and cake!

Sylvie, Kitchen Supervisor and baking specialist smiling in the Two Teaspoons garden in Wimbledon.

SYLWIE

Sylwia has been bringing her love of cookery together with an infinite repertoire of Polish recipes (and Polish sayings and laundry hacks) to the Two Teaspoons kitchen for almost 10 years. ‘My love of cooking (and let’s be honest, eating and taste-testing everything!) started at a young age, so being able to create nutritious menus for young children is truly a dream job.’ Also known to burst into an impromptu song or dance while baking 600 oats cookies, there’s never a dull moment with Sylwie in the kitchen!

SEAN

Two Teaspoon’s superfriendly driver Sean is often met with a wave and a cheer as he delivers over 2500 meals a week to nursery children across London and Surrey. Sean is as meticulous in his preparation, ensuring all dietary requirements and allergies are met, as he is unphased by an enormous shopping list (30kg porridge oats, 100 litres of olive oil, 160 free range eggs and some gorgonzola for lunch). The only man working with a team of five women, Sean is our feminist icon and our resident sports expert. Up the DONS! Sean likes to unwind by going to the gym, aka the Dog and Fox!

Arabella

It's the diversity of Arabella’s job as project manager that makes it so interesting and fun (read bonkers)! From editing the website to applying for accreditations; ordering groceries to auditing sustainability; researching ingredients to testing recipes - no two days are the same. ‘It’s a great job as I’m always juggling different elements and learning new skills, including how to sneak more pulses into the family dinner!’ Though usually working quietly behind a computer screen, Arabella likes to keep the team on their toes with the loudest sneeze in Wimbledon!

Aeo

Aeo, the newest member of the team, has taken little time to settle in and effortlessly navigate the vast quantities of vegetables that arrive in the kitchen daily to be turned into Two Teaspoon deliciousness. When not chopping, mixing, ladling, stirring, blending, washing, decanting or measuring, Aeo enjoys drawing, listening to metal music, going to concerts and hanging out with her two cats and pet lizard.
